He authored the UK Chief Medical Officers&#x2019; Physical Activity Guidelines and led the first national guidelines for disabled adults and children. Brett advises the UK Government, ParalympicsGB, Sport England, and the German Federal Ministry of Health on disability, sport, and co-production. He is Principal Investigator of the award-winning Moving Social Work project, embedding physical activity in social work education and practice. She is a member of the National Commission for Coach Education Regulation in Portugal and serves on the Scientific Commission of the Master&#x2019;s in Teaching Physical Education. Close KEYNOTE SPEAKER Nuno Laurentino Instituto Portugu&#xEA;s do Desporto e Juventude, Former Portuguese Olympic Swimmer About More Nuno Laurentino &times; Nuno Filipe Gomes Laurentino is a former Portuguese Olympic swimmer who represented Portugal at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Games. Widely regarded as one of the most versatile Portuguese swimmers of all time, he once held half of all national swimming records. Laurentino was the first Portuguese swimmer to break the 50-second barrier in the 100m freestyle short course and the first Iberian swimmer to do so in the long course. A University of Florida alumnus and NCAA competitor, he retired from professional swimming in 2007. Close KEYNOTE SPEAKER Patricia Coutinho Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Sport, University of Porto; Researcher, CIFI2D &#x2013; Centre for Research, Education, Innovation and Intervention in Sport About More Patricia Coutinho &times; Patr&#xED;cia Coutinho, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto and an integrated researcher at the Centre for Research, Education, Innovation, and Intervention in Sport (CIFI2D). She is also a member of the Ethics Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Master&#x2019;s in Sports Training of the same institution. Her research interests focus on Sport Pedagogy and Didactics applied to the field of Sports Training, with a special emphasis on the processes of Long-Term Athlete Development, Talent Development and Dual Careers of Athletes. She has nearly 100 scientific publications in these fields. Patr&#xED;cia is also a coach educator of the Portuguese Volleyball Federation. As a volleyball coach, she holds the highest level of certification in Portugal (level 3) and has accumulated more than 20 years of experience.
